As part of implementing the ongoing ZONGOBootCamp project across selected MMDAs in the Eastern Region of Ghana, FAPIMPA foundation on Wednesday 24th April, 2019 led an entourage of Chiefs from the Eastern Regional Offices of the Zongo Chiefs Council, and the Chief Imam as well as representatives from the National Youth Authority (NYA), Koforidua Technical University – CEID, Ghana Muslim Students’ Association (GMSA) & CraftHouse TVET Centre to pay a courtesy call on Hon. Mustapha Hamid, Minister for Inner Cities and Zongo Development to discuss ZONGOBootCamp project partnership details and implementation efforts at the Osu Castle in Accra.

Hon. Mustapha Hamid assured the team of the support of his ministry to in the implementation of the ZONGOBootCamp and public resource support for the initiative.

ZONGOBootCamp projects seeks to train a total of 1,200 participants with 300 beneficiaries selected per each 5 Metropolitan Municipal & District Assemblies across the Eastern region. The MMDAs includes; Abuakwa North District (Kukurantumi and it’s environs), New Juaben North & South Municipalities (Effiduase & Koforidua environs), West Akim Municipal (Asamankese and it environs), Lower Manyo Krobo Municipal (Odumase-Krobo)
