Martin Thompson Ntem, the Immediate past President of the Student’s Representative Council of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, has been elected as the President of the university’s Graduate School.
In an election held over the weekend, Martin Ntem managed to have 111 votes with his two other contenders, Larry George Botchway and Leonard Karikari Nyanor amassing 77 and 29 votes respectively.
Celebrating his victory in a Facebook post, Martin Ntem described his victory as a blessing.
Meanwhile, other winners in the election include Francis Ntow as General Secretary, Eve Abugabe as Women’s Commissioner, Desmond Amenu as Organizer and Alvin Nii Noi becoming the Public Relations Officer of GIJ-GRASAG.
