1. Jospong Group Of Companies
This is one of the best companies in Ghana. They operate in other African countries and Asia. Its headquarters is located at Nmai Djorn in Accra.
They have a business interest in about 14 sectors of the economy. It was first established as a printing press in 1995.
It has experienced phenomenal growth since its inception. They have over 60 companies aiming to churn out innovative businesses in local and international markets.
They operate in environment and sanitation, commercial and allied sciences, technology and logistics, ICT services, and financial services.
2. PZ Cussons Ghana Limited
This is a manufacturer of personal health care products and consumer goods. PZ Cussons Ghana is a subsidiary of PZ Cussons, and it was formed on 24th May 1958 and is listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
They produce cosmetics, soaps, gels, dairy, household chemicals, and natural oils. They have their headquarters located at the Kwame Nkrumah Avenue, and they export their products as well. Their products include imperial leather soap, shampoos, olive oil, detergent, and milk.
3. Kasapreko Company Limited
This is a Ghanaian manufacturer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. In 2012 it was ranked number 6 in the Ghana club 100 rankings and was awarded the top Ghanaian company in the beverage sector in the Association of Ghana Industries.
It was established in 1989 by Dr. Kwabena Agyei.
It has its headquarters located on Spintex road. They employ about 580 employees.
Their key brands include Alomo Bitters, Kalahari Bitters, Storm Energy Drink, Awake Drinking Water, Royal Drinks, 10/10, Veraldo, and Five-star Multifruit. In 2020, they started to produce hand sanitizers to support the fight against Coronavirus.
4. Twellium Industrial Company
Twellium Industrial Company is also one of the best manufacturing companies in Ghana. It was established in September 2013 in Ghana. They produce four products: Rush Energy Drink, Original American Cola, Planet range of drinks, and Bubble up lemon-lime.
They produce non-alcoholic beverages as well as Verna Mineral Water.
Monarch Beverages’ licensee in Atlanta, Georgia, an international beverage company in over 50 countries with over 200 products.
5. Printex
Printex is a textile company in Ghana. It was established in 1958 and is located on the Spintex road in Accra. They have over 500 local employees. It was established as Millet Textile Corporation producing terry towels mainly.
In 1980 they changed to Spintex Limited and assumed Primtex in 1997. They produce African print fabrics, Oheneba, gold prints, among others.
6. Interplast Limited
Interplast is the leading producer of plastic pipe systems in West Africa. It is a fully Ghanaian-owned company established in 1970.
The company exports to over 22 African countries.
They deal in uPVC pipes, cable duct systems, windows and doors, and green irrigation systems.
