Katanga, Conti, Casford and Commonwealth hall Set to Hold First Meeting to Address practical ways to students activism and numerous clashes on Campuses.
The University Hall- Katanga, Unity hall- ‘Conti’ both of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology , Casley Hayford hall-Casford of UCC and Commonwealth hall-Vandal of the premier university, University of Ghana are set to hold their first general meeting to address issues on practical ways to student activism and clashes on various university campuses.
The meeting scheduled to take place at Accra Technical University on 20th July, 2018 will not only see executives of the aforementioned halls but alumni and other stakeholders will be present to help address the issue.
In their quest to keep student activism at its peak and also curtail the numerous clashes that do happen among the most of our prominent halls, the executives and stakeholders of the four notable male halls, thus Casely Hayford hall, Commonwealth hall, Unity hall and University hall thought it wise to organize a meeting on the aforementioned.
It is projected that the conference will amalgamate these individual halls into one fraternity with a common objective”- former hall President of University hall (Katanga) Master Richard Possible Agbenyenu commonly known as Possible revealed to SuccessAfrica’s Robert Kumi Adu-Gyamfi in an exclusive interview.
He said the meeting will also offer them the opportunity to address the media on recent happenings on various university campuses and the way forward to student activism. Most importantly, the group will actually declare their stands on the recent news of converting Conti and Katanga into a mix hall by KNUST school authorities.
