Fire Razes Agogo Collins SHS Boys Dormitory; Over 350 Students Displaced

At least 350 students displaced as fire razes down Agogo Collins SHS boys dormitory in the Ashanti Amim North Municipality in the Ashanti Region.

It has been gathered that, the incident occurred about 1pm on Saturday March 2, 2019 from the first floor of the two-storey building.

So far, the cause of the fire is yet to be established but it took fire fighters several hours to douse the inferno.

Materials such as books, chalks boxes, mattress and other belongings of the students including their school uniforms were not spared.

Students affected would temporarily will be housed in classrooms until they are able to find alternative accommodation for them calling for the assistance of the government and benevolent organizations to come to their aid.
