The moment meant for happiness for students went bad as dozens suffered slaps yesterday from a sausage seller at the Silicon Hotel where students from the College of Art and Built Environment and College of Agric and Natural Resource had gathered for their annual socializing.

Our correspondent , Robert Kumi Adu-Gyamfi reports the venue chosen for the event looked too small to accommodate such huge number of students from the two colleges.

The sausage seller out of anger, uncontrollably gave several slaps to students rushing to join the queue.

The incident is as a result of the overcrowded nature of the venue making it cumbersome for executives to even control them.

Scores of students were also seen outside the hotel battling entry. It was observed that the program meant for students saw non-students participating more creating an atmosphere of insecurity, several theft cases were reported.
