KNUST: Nana Aba Anamoah to have a Mentorship Program for Women in Media

The ever vociferous presenter Nana Aba Anamoah, host of State of Affairs Programme on GHOne TV has said she is in talks with the Students Representative Council(SRC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to have a mentorship program for women in media on campus.

Nana Aba Anamoah made the revelation when she was addressing students at an annual program( TekTalk) organised by the SRC last Saturday at the Great Hall of the university.

Prior to this revelation, the TV star advised students to mentor their friends, give them the necessary directions because we rise by lifting others.

“We need to learn to speak up. Let’s learn to join campaigns. Its way of contributing to nation building.”- she added

Nana Aba used the platform given to advise the youth on what they put on their respective social media handles.

She cited an instance where a friend was asked to provide her username on social media, stating of late, employers are not only looking out for your competency but how you conduct yourself.

Nana Aba Anamoah advised students to Cultivate the habit of volunteering, students must learn to join campaigns as well.

“Choose friends strategically, learn to network. Make friends who have an impart on you after school”.

Nana Aba was quick to add that, it doesn’t mean you are been discriminatory but it is just a good decision you are making for yourself.
