The Ministry of Education has released the list of top-performing schools in the Ashanti Region after the 2024 WASSCE.
The Minister of Education at an award presentation in the Ashanti Region said that 12 Senior High schools in the Region secured high marks cumulatively in all eight subjects in WASSCE 2024.
The Ministry of Education has not released the full list of the top-performing schools after the release of the WASSCE. Below are the 12 best-performing schools released so far.
For the past years, there are some schools that have made the list. These schools are normally the top category A schools in the Ashanti Region and some new schools, Mankranso Senior High School, Pentecost Senior High School, and Osei Adutwum Senior High School are some schools been featured on the list for the first time.
Of the 6 Category A Schools, only Kumasi High School and St. Louis SHS made it to the top 5 list. The list below is in order of their positions, even though the Ministry has not released the detailed metrics used to rate the schools.
