A student journalist with Success Africa Media , Issaka Naana Firdaus is contesting for Miss Scholar UG 2019.
The Miss Scholar is a pageant geared towards unearthing young ladies with social change projects.
This is the UG chapter where the winner gets to represent UG at the national level.
The winner at this stage gets mentoring and support in carrying out her project.
Miss Issaka Naana Firdaus project is on women empowerment specifically focused on equipping teenage mothers with a skill or two of which she planned on starting this semester. So basically this pageant is just her way of trying to get sponsorship for her project hopefully if she emerges the winner.
The grande finale of the event is scheduled on Sunday, 26th May, 2019 at UG Main Campus.
