Sarah Kwarteng, Drowned UEW-M Student Washed Ashore.
Sarah Kwarteng went missing at the Oasis beach in Cape Coast where some university students, who were taking part in the Face Of USAG pageant as part of the USAG congress at the University of Cape Coast, had gone for a photoshoot.
Her body was washed ashore Sunday 19th August in the afternoon at Duakor near Cape Coast located between the University of Cape Coast and the Elmina beach.
The body has been sent to the UCC hospital morgue, Central Regional Police PRO, DSP Irene Oppong has confirmed.
Five students got drowned on the fateful day after they were hit by a tidal wave in which all were rescued except Sarah.
Unfortunately, one of the four rescued students, Lilian Ampofowaa Asiedu of the University of Ghana, Accra Campus, died on her way to the hospital.

Report available to the news team of Successafrica.info suggests that, two students purported to be Contestants of the Face of University Students Association of Ghana(USAG), a beauty pageantry event of the association got drowned during a photoshoot session prior to the Grand finale today.
The two, Sarah Kwarteng of University of Education-Mampong Campus and Lily Ampofowaa Asiedu of University of Ghana met their untimely death during a photoshoot session at the beach around 4:30pm on thursday.
Report suggests the two were washing themselves along the coast after the photo shoot when they got water-washed by the waves of the sea.
The body of Lily Ampofowaa Asiedu has been retrieved and deposited at the UCC university Hospital Mortuary and subsequently that of Sarah Kwarteng has now been found and also deposited at the same morgue.
