The school authorities at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have indicated that formalities have been completed for two student who met their untimely death in Germany to be flown to Ghana.[irp posts=”1757″ name=”KNUST Admission List For 2018/2019 Academic Year”]
The bodies of the two students who were on an exchange program at Freisin University in Southern Germany was found in the deepest part of a manmade lake after they had gone with some students for swimming.
An interview between the University’s Public Relations Officer, Kwame Yeboah Junior and Ivan Heathcote sighted on ultimatefmonline.com by Successafrica.info news team indicates that the students were insured so arrangements have been made for their bodies be flown back to Ghana for burial Service.[irp posts=”1510″ name=”KNUST Receives High Marks Rating After AQRM Assessment”]
“We had reports that they went for swimming and they got drowned. The arrangements that have been made is that they were insured so the insurance company sent some forms to the university and some of our staff went to see the parents for those documents to be signed so that the bodies will be flown back to Ghana,”- Mr. Yeboah said.[irp posts=”1789″ name=”UEW: Vice Chancellor, Four Others Dismissed”]
However the family members are worried about the news going round that their deceased ward went to drink alcohol before visiting the lake.
