Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC) from the Greater Accra region has won the 2020 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) competition for the 6th time.
The coveted NSMQ trophy was being contested for by three male schools, namely Adisadel College (ADISCO), Presbyterian Boys’ SHS(PRESEC), Legon and Opoku Ware SHS(OWASS).
PRESEC won the contest with 36 points beating their contenders, Adisadel College(ADISCO), with 31 points and Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS), recording 21 points.
It was a fierce battle between PRESEC and ADISCO during the contest in the fourth round.
The National Science and Maths Quiz is delineated to promote the study of science and mathematics.
