John Dumelo has been elected as NDC’S Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in the primaries conducted today the 24th of August, 2019.
In a captivating landslide victory, he garnered 758 votes whilst his compatriot and opponent
Madam Suzzy Addo Boye had 99 votes.
The popular and charismatic actor tasted victory in his first election after his foray into politics. The actor was a vocal supporter of the National Democratic Party and then president John Mahama in the 2016 elections.
He will now seek to win the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat for the NDC.
He will come up against strong opposition in the form of Madam Lydia
