JHS 3 student, 14, stabbed to death at Sekondi-Tarkoradi


A 14-year-old student of the West Ridge Junior High School at Sekondi-Takoradi in the Western region has been stabbed to death.

The deceased, a JHS 3 student, who would have celebrated his birthday yesterday, October 26, was reportedly stabbed multiple times in the rib and stomach leading to his death at the Effia Nkwanta regional hospital.

The suspect is in the grips of the Police. It is unclear what triggered the attack.

The Sekondi -Takoradi Metropolitan public relations officer at the Ghana Education Service Kate Andoh Biney revealed to Empire News’ Emmanmuel Ohene-Gyan that police have been stationed at the school to prevent any disturbances.
