The Ghana Scholarship Secretariat has extended the deadline for its online scholarship application to Sunday, 27th December, 2020.
This was contained in a press release dated 16th December, 2020 in which Mr. Setor Y. Adanuvor, the national coordinator for Ghana Scholarship Secretariat, stated the reason for the decision as “to allow more applicants to apply for sponsorship opportunity for their local tertiary education.”
The release also stated that this was based on delays in issuance of admission letters for the 2020 WASSCE graduates. It further informed the continuing student applicants who went through the selection interviews at the various District Assemblies that payments have started.
