UDS Changes Examinations Start Date

The registrar of the University for Development Studies has communicated to the various campuses of the change in the 2019/20 first trimester exams timetable. This move has been necessitated to accommodate the nationwide referendum on 17th December, 2019.

The Vice Dean of Students for Nyankpala Campus  Dr. Raphael Adu Gyamfi in a Whatsapp message communicated to students that the decision was received from the registrar of the school Dr. A.B.T Zakariah

He stated that the decision has become necessary to allow students to partake in the 17, December referendum.

Hello there is the need to change the exam time table. It has been necessitated by the 17th Dec Referendum. Registrar has informed us to observe it as a free day. We therefore has to shift the papers for 17th Dec to 18th and the change will affect subsequent papers. We either write on Saturday 21st Dec or shift the last papers to Monday 23rd December. Due to the closeness of 23rd to the Xmas We want the papers to shift to Saturday 21st. We deeply regret the inconveniences to you”.

This has come as quite an inconvenience to the students of the university.
