Former Ghana U-17 midfielder and star player for Kumasi High School Mohammed Idriss has joined Portuguese side FC Moreirense from Cheetah FC.
Popularly known as Tampico by his mates, the young midfielder was key for Kumasi High School in winning the maiden edition of the Ashanti Top 8 Competition two years ago as he was crowned the overall best player in that the tournament organized by the Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council.
He also featured for KUHIS in their inter schools soccer competition during his stay in the school.
The midfielder signed a five year deal with the Portuguese outfit on the summer transfer deadline day after passing his medicals on Friday, August 31, 2018.

Mohammed Idriss was part of Ghana’s U17 World Cup team which reached the quarter finals in 2017 in India.
