The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has refuted circulation purported to be from the university about its 2024–2025 academic year admissions.
In a release on its official social media platform, the university clarified that admissions will be based on merit and available space for programs, not on cut-off points as widely circulated.
It says in the release that the cut-off points are generated each year after admission to serve as a guide for prospective applicants, parents or guidance in selecting programmes.
It continue to say the widely circulated cutoff will not guarantee admissions into specific programmes for this academic year.
