Covid-19: Minority reiterates calls for shutdown of parliament

0

The minority in parliament has once again reiterated calls for parliament to be shutdown.

This follows revelation by majority leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu that some MPs, staff and journalists who tested positive for covid-19 are refusing to stay home.

Speaking to Kasapa News as monitored by successafrica.info, minority spokesperson on health, Kwabena Mintah Akandor accused the majority leader of denying earlier reports of infections within the legislature just to save EC’s controversial CI for the compilation of a new voters’ register.
