Breaking: University Of Ghana Suspends Lectures Over Coronavirus

Management of the premier university, University of Ghana has suspended lectures temporarily until further notice.

A statement issued by management has confirmed.

This come in wake of the fast spreading of the novel Coronavirus.

Ghana has this afternoon confirmed four more cases bringing the total number to 6 including a female student of the University of Ghana who traveled to US and imported the virus into the Country.

The University of Ghana earlier suspended all outdoor activities including its IA’s scheduled to take place this weekend.

The University said, resident should stay on campus as the university goes through the protocols of proper contact tracing to avoid further spread of the virus.

The statement also assured the students not to live in fear as the is pulling all its available resources to ensure better management of the situation.

The statement said the University has put in place preventive and quarantine measures to control the possible spread of the novel Coronavirus.
