    Authorities of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have said the Mid-Semester examination scheduled to commence on Monday, March 15, 2020, still holds, Successafrica.Info can confirm.

    Scores of students registered their petition for authorities to consider the suspension.

    Student leaders with management of the university unanimously took the decision at an emergency meeting called for that purpose today, March, 15, 2020.

    Meanwhile, the university In a statement suspended all outdoor activities including hall weeks, dinner nights, awards nights ,excursions and international conferences.

    The University of Ghana has suspended lectures temporarily following the confirmation of four more cases of the novel Coronavirus.

    The University has restricted movements, leaving room for officials to follow the protocols of contact tracing.

    Ghana earlier today, confirmed four more cases including a nonresidential student of the university of Ghana who imported the virus from the United States.

    So far, about 122 people have been quarantined following the contact tracing initiative launched by the government to control the possible spread of the diseases.

    Ghana as part of the preventive measure this afternoon, has closed it boarders.
