The much anticipated results of the OFFICIAL : WAEC RELEASES PROVISIONAL WASSCE 2019 RESULTS
The much anticipated results of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has been released by the examination body, WAEC.
346,094 students from 987 schools registered for the exam in 2019, a 9.2% increase as compared to last year. WAEC had 170,857(49.37 ) males registering for the exam whilst 175237 (50.63%) females also registered.
The provisional results highlights remarkable increase in the performance of students in comparison to the previous year especially in the core subjects. Core Mathematics had a pass percentage of 65.31%, contrastingly last year recorded a 38.33% pass percentage.
