Lamicare foundation on the 3rd of December 2022 embarked on yet another project this year to commemorate the international day of people with disability at Edwenease rehabilitation center, Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The foundation hosted a special event where various mobility aids for people who are physically challenged were donated.
The items included wheelchairs, crutches, assorted food materials as well as a cash donation of 1000 cedis to the center.
Speaking to the founder Carla Cornelius, she expressed the need for people to look out for people leaving with disability in the country, especially in these trying times.
She further expressed her appreciation to the director of the center for allowing the organization to embark on the celebrations at his institution.
The event was keenly supported by organizations like Ndomie noodles, Height studios, Ultimate Fm, Abusua Fm, Sweet Gardens, Enelle, and many more.

The organization on its roadmap is working assiduously on an upcoming project ‘dubbed’ obaasima.
The founder indicated she is not ready to divulge the details yet, however, promised it is going to be worth the wait.
It has been an eventful year for the organization that has been operating for the last 7 years, and its prospects are exciting.
