The President of the Students Representative Council of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Master Samuel Sessah has said about 1,363 students of the university who applied for the Ketewa Biara Nsua Bursary (KBN) have been awarded.
In a post on Facebook sighted by our news team, the SRC President admonished that financial clearance has been given and that student in no time will start seeing the bursary reflecting in their portal.
SRC Ketewa Biara Nsua Bursary is a one-year bursary provided by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) for brilliant but needy students to enable them to pursue their university education at the renowned institution.
The scholarship is one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The aim of this initiative or bursary is to create a global network of future leaders who are committed to improving the lives of others.
The KBN Bursary is offered for Bachelors and Master’s degree in the field of programmes offered at the university. The value of this scholarship is for partial funding and partial funds.
It is only eligible to students from Ghana who are pursuing full-time programmes offered by the institution and open to all regular continuing Ghanaian students who are brilliant but financially needy and are not in their final year.
Applicants are also expected to be academically strong, service-minded and innovative in looking for ways to make a difference in their communities.
In a recent tweet and Facebook post by the SRC president, Master Samuel Sesah, he stated that the SRC Ketewa Biara Nsua-KBN for the 2020/2021 academic year has been disbursed to 1,363 students across various colleges.
He also added that, the financial clearance has been made and that selected students will have it reflecting in their academic fees portal soon. Students who will receive the scholarship will have their documents checked officially.
