Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has said, arrangements for reopening of the University for the 2020/2021 academic year will be communicated soon.
This development comes after the President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo announced during his update number 18 on Sunday, October 18, that schools will reopen in January 2021.
Management of the University had already planned to reopen the university on October 31, 2020.
However, a communique signed by the Deputy Registrar, Mr. Y. Owusu Asamoah, confirmed the General Public will be notified of the arrangement made for the reopening of the university for the 2020/2021 academic year in January.
“Following His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana’s address to the Nation on Sunday, October 8, 2020, – Update No. 18, we wish to inform the university community that the university will be re-opened in January 2021 as announced by the President.
Members of Staff, Students, and the general public will be informed of the detail arrangements for the re-opening in due course.,” the community said.
