Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi has appointed Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University.
The decision was made during the university council’s 258th special meeting held on Thursday, June 25, 2020, upon the acceptance of the report of the search committee for the appointment of the vice-chancellor.
The first female Vice-Chancellor has been giving a four-year mandate starting from August 1, 2020.
Until her appointment, she was serving as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University.
