How To Connect To KNUST Wifi On Android

Below is the step-by-step guide to connect to the KNUST WiFi on Android;

Step 1: Go to Settings on your Android device and select WIFI or WIFI Connection.

Step 2: Click on the KNUST WIFI to configure your device for use.

Step 3: Select Advanced options. You should see the options to configure, such as the EAP method, etc.

Step 4: Under EAP Method > choose TTLS, Under Phase 2 authentication > choose PAP. Every other setting should be left as they are.

(b) Some selected android phones do not have the configuration settings in advanced options. For such devices, the EAP method and phase 2 authentication can be found immediately you click on the KNUST WIFI.

Step 5: Now, enter your username and password in the space provided under identity and password, respectively. Note, for anonymous identity, you can put your first name there or leave it blank.

Step 6: Ensure the credentials are properly inputted and connected. Your device should be connected.

Note: For rare cases where the connect button seems to be inactive, in the same location for step 4 (a and b), under CA certificate, make sure you select “do not validate,” your connect button will become active.

How To Connect KNUST Wifi On IPhone

Below is the step-by-step guide to connect to the KNUST WiFi on Android;

1. Click and download the files using the highlighted link using your iPhone, the download button can be found in the top right corner, choose direct download.
2. After selecting the download option, a new window opens up with some information. Just tap on the Install button in the top right corner. Enter Passcode (if requested) then tap on Install again and then tap on it again.
3. Now enter the username. Tap on the Next option, enter password, then tap on next again. Finally, tap on Done.
4. Go to Settings, Wifi, turn on Wifi and then select KNUST WIFI to connect. Type your password if requested… an interface with KNUST RADIUS…. Appears. Choose the Accept option, and you are good to go.

How To Connect To KNUST Wifi On Laptop

Below is the step-by-step guide to connect to the KNUST WiFi on Laptop;

1. Search from your list of available WIFI networks
2. Choose KNUST WIFI in your list of wireless networks
3. Enter your KNUST Credentials when asked.
4. The WIFI connection will then be established
5. In case of any problems, visit the UITS directorate(casely hayford building last floor or the ICT center-main library)
