To apply for a place at the Ghana Immigration Service, Visit the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) Recruitment Portal via http://www.gisrecruitments.com/

  1. Click on the Apply Now tab and enter the e-voucher serial and pin code details.
  2. Select your highest educational level. Select the preferred branch, enter your Bio and Educational data, and upload a passport-sized picture of dimension (200×180) pixels before submitting.
  3. Print out a copy of the application summary report, which contains details of your Applicant Identification (ID Number) and other relevant data.
  4. Once the application is successfully submitted, you can come back before the closing date to print your summary report with the help of the card purchased.

Make sure you provide accurate data about yourself (Bio & Educational). Any form of false data submitted would not be treated lightly by GIS command, and defaulters would be apprehended and prosecuted.

Ghana Immigration Service RECRUITMENT E-VOUCHERS

1. Purchase an Electronic Voucher at the cost of One Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 100.00) from the various branches of the GCB Bank Ltd across the country.

After purchasing the E-Voucher, the applicant must go online using the address: http://www.gisrecruitments.com/ to fill in all the required information.

Applicants must note that they must enter the serial number of the voucher and fill out the online application. Upload a passport size photograph and click to submit.

Ghana Immigration Service RECRUITMENT – SCREENING AND EXAMINATION – Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by e-mail for Screening and Examination at the Screening Centre selected during the online application.

GIS RECRUITMENT TRAINING Only successful applicants in the Screening Examination will be invited for training.

Ghana Immigration Service General Requirements for Graduates

All candidates are to satisfy the following requirements:

• Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.

• Must possess a first Degree, not below a Second Class Lower in Social Sciences/Humanities from an accredited University.

• Must have completed their National Service.

• Must be computer Literate.

• Must be of a minimum age of 21 and not more than 28 years.

• Must be physically and medically fit.

• Must be of good character.

• Must not be bonded.

• Must have a minimum height of 1.73metres (5ft 8inch) for Males and 1.63 metres (5ft 4inch) for females.

• Have Five/5 Credits in subjects (Not less than grade 6) at BECE, including English and a Pass in Mathematics. • Have Five/5 Credits in subjects (Not less than grade C6) at SSSCE/WASSCE, including English and a Pass in Mathematics.

Ghana Immigration Service General Requirements for non Graduates

All candidates are to satisfy the following requirements:

• Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.

• Must hold SSSCE/WASSCE Certificate with Five (5) credits, including English Language and a pass in Mathematics.

• Must be of a minimum age of 18 and not more than 26.

• Must be physically and medically fit.

• Must be of good character.

• Must not be bonded.

• Must have a minimum height of 1.73metres (5ft 8inch) for Males and 1.63 metres (5ft 4inch) for females.
