A Night of Remembrance For The Late Kofi Annan

The officials of the premier University in Ghana, Legon, has released the activities that will mark the long lasting memories of the former Chancellor Mr. Kofi Annan who left this world on August 18, 2018.

Activities earmarked for the event will commence on Thursday 30 August. Mrs. Stella A. Amoa Director of Public Affairs on August 29, 2018 made it known that, a book of condolence will be opened from that day to 7 September at the New Council Chamber located at the Registry.

On the 7 of September, a night of remembrance will be held at the Great Hall at 5pm.
She wrote, “Tributes will be read by Principal Officers of the University, in addition to others from selected institutions/associations.”

The activities also captured a Week of Exhibition. This will take charge at the Balm Library from Monday September 10 to Friday September 14, 2018.
