Rickmes Foundation, an organization based in Kumasi,Ghana is undertaking a charitable exercise that seeks to support mothers with babies suffering from hydrocephalus.
About this project
Many babies with hydrocephalus are dying due to inability of their caretakers or families to afford the expensive cost of treatment. This is because most the parents of these children are farmers and their monthly earns is nothing to write about. The organization want to support the surgery of many children with hydrocephalus in Ghana.
The organization is supporting 10 babies with hydrocephalus to undergo surgerical operation at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital ( KATH ). They therefore plead with the general public to donate at least $1 to support this course.
Use of Proceeds
The funds will be used to;
1. Transportation to communities to identify children with hydrocephalus.
2. Pay the Neurosurgeons and other personals for their service.
3. Pay for the other hospital bills
4. Purchase Equipments for the surgery and assitive devices
5. Make Follow up on patients after surgery
6. Food items for the patient.
