Fire has gutted the University of Ghana branch of the Prudential Bank.
The fire is said to have started at about 10:50pm on Sunday evening.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service are, as at press time, at the premises of the bank and have brought the fire under control.
Meanwhile, power supply has been temporarily cut to the area as it is suspected that the outbreak is as a result of an electrical fault.
The University of Ghana branch of the Prudential Bank is located at the Banking Square of the campus, near the night market.
