The Covid-19 pandemic that is ravaging through the country has crippled all aspects of our life but it has also presented a rare entrepreneurial opportunity and KOD has taken this opportunity by the scruff of the neck.

I do not write about Kofi Okyere Darko when I say KOD as you’re already thinking but I write about the brilliant young man Kyeremeh Oppong Daniel, CEO of GreenJuniper Enterprise and founder of the KOD foundation that has donated over GHS 30,000 worth of items to combat Covid-19. He’s an entrepreneur and a philanthropist.

KOD is a third year KNUST student studying Chemistry. He put his knowledge to good use when this awful pandemic hit and established his own Company that produces all kind of chemical products including hand sanitizers, methylated spirits, hand wash and liquid soap among others.

In a country where employment for a graduate after school is far from certain, KOD has already taken charge of his life and now employs and trains others in his company. Aside securing a good income stream for himself, KOD is also providing employment for other youth in proving to be a citizen not a spectator.

His philanthropic endeavors have been no less than wonderful. He has donated items worth thousands of cedis to less privileged communities and schools. The KOD Community Initiative has seen incredible success so far with donations in the Ashanti, Ahafo, Bono and Bono East regions.

Their next gratuity will target Senior High schools in the Central Region of Ghana specifically final year students in the remote areas, who for some reasons can’t afford the necessary PPE’s to safeguard themselves from this deadly pandemic.

Investors, lecturers, students and stakeholders willing to to contribute their quota to the exploits of this brilliant young man can channel their contributions to +23354169495 (Daniel Oppong Kyeremeh).
