Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday held a consultative meeting with national executives of the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT).
The discussions centred on improving teaching and learning in schools and challenges facing teachers and their effects on quality education. The former President took suggestions from the graduate teachers on how to tackle and improve on existing challenges and issues.
In attendance were the National Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, and senior members of the party including Professor Joshua Alabi, Madam Sherry Ayittey, Moses Magbengba and the Ranking Member on the Education Committee in parliament Nortsu Kortoe.
Also present were Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Barbara Asamoah, Deputy Minority Chief Whip, Ahmed, a former Deputy Minister for Education Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and the Deputy Ranking Member on the Education Committee Dr. Clement Apaak.
